Lambert Films, LLC receives 2 Silver Awards from the 44th Annual Telly Awards

May 23, 2023 – Lambert Films, LLC, a production company renowned for its creative excellence and innovative historic storytelling, is thrilled to announce its recent success at the 44th Annual Telly Awards. Lambert Films, LLC has been honored with not just one, but two prestigious Silver Awards, reaffirming its commitment to producing exceptional historical content in the industry.

The Telly Awards, founded in 1979, recognizes excellence in video and television across various platforms. It is a highly esteemed global competition that celebrates the best creative work in film production, television, digital media, and advertising. Winning a Telly Award signifies outstanding achievement in storytelling, cinematography, editing, and overall production value.

Lambert Films’ exceptional contributions have been acknowledged in two distinct categories. The first Silver Award was bestowed upon their gripping documentary, “Dirigo: Maine at Gettysburg,” which tells the story of Maine’s involvement in the Battle of Gettysburg during the American CivTellil War in July of 1863. “Dirigo: Maine at Gettysburg” will be distributed nationally to PBS stations in July 2023 through the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA).

The second Silver Award recognized Lambert Films’ short film “Gettysburg Address: A New Birth of Freedom,” narrated by Dave LaChance. The Gettysburg Address is a historic speech delivered by President Abraham Lincoln on November 19, 1863, during the American Civil War. Given at the dedication ceremony of the Soldiers’ National Cemetery in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, the speech is widely regarded as one of the most significant and poignant in American history.
